Suzuki to launch an upgraded Zeus

The two-wheeler market is getting braced for new competition almost every other day, which includes the local brands as well as the models from abroad bike makers.



It is as If the new launches weren't enough, that we are seeing makeover versions this season. We've recently got to see to the Bajaj's Discover in a new avatar which was soon followed by Honda Unicorn's improvised version the Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler. And now it's the turn of Suzuki Motorcycles the Zeus 125cc with fresh looks from the Japanese based two wheeler makers Suzuki in the premium segment.

The Suzuki Zeus 125cc, which will most likely be launched any time this month is expected to give a tough competition to Hero Honda, Honda and Bajaj. Suzuki's existing Zeus 125cc and Heat 125cc did not live up to the expectations of the company and the consumers, as a result the sales saw quite a dip. So the come back version is likely to create some ripples in the two-wheeler market.



The upgraded Suzuki Zeus 125cc will not have an all-new engine for sure although it might have undergone some refinement along with new body graphics and of course a facelift in the looks department which will be the factors to look forward to. There is a unique gear shift indicator to enable the rider know of the same and the disc brakes with alloy wheels add to the glamour part of the bike and 5-speed gear transmission with all-aluminium engine will add to the functionality of the Zeus by raking up fuel efficiency.

Last but not the least the new Zeus will come with higher price tag when compared to the existing version.

No doubt the Suzuki Zeus is a nice bike with decent build quality and mileage, but on a serious note is this all sufficient enough for the new Suzuki Zeus to chew up the competition in the 125cc market and rake up some good share in the market? I doubt it very much.
