Honda Caught Testing New 125cc Motorcycle

Spy pictures from the media source at GaadiWaadi shows pictures of a new commuter-spec Honda motorcycle doing its test runs. The fairly recent and aggressive launch spree by Honda Motorcycles and Scooters in India, is finally reaching its end. We now know almost all the products that are part of the 15-new product launch proposal from the Japanese manufacturer.



On August 4th, Honda would hold the Revfest, a day that will be dedicated to the launch of premium performance oriented bikes that will make its way to the Indian roads. It will be the stage to witness the launch of the much awaited Honda CBR650F and the updated versions of the 150R and 250R.





With the commuter segment selling units like hot cakes, Honda has evidently decided to pull their socks up and introduce attractive options for the masses. The spy shots reveal an elegantly styled 125cc bike, much along the lines of Honda Shine, and a few elements of Honda Unicorn can be seen incorporated to it. Honda would certainly be hoping to bring the new bike as a competitor in terms of mileage, and also in terms of pricing. More details regarding the launch and pricing are yet to be known. Of the 15 new products to be launched, three of the sport oriented bikes are to be launched on August 4th, making the number of products launched at 12. The 160cc based motorcycles would follow, and the spied 125cc would be the final candidate. Honda dealerships across the country have been spotted doing major revamps to their existing showrooms, possibly to attract more customers and make them comfortable. As for any manufacturer, good after-sales support is of the essence while doing business in India; Honda could make a difference by effectively training and setting up a dedicated team of professionals to assist customers who have issues with their two-wheelers.
