Royal Enfield, who has been working on an exclusive 500cc Thunderbird, is now ready to launch it. The much awaited new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500cc is expected to meet the Indian bike lovers by first quarter of 2012.
There will not be any change in the engine for the new Thunderbird. The 500cc engine that is been used in the Royal Enfield Classic 500cc, which is been giving great power and torque will be used for Thunderbird 500 cc.
The new Thunderbird is expected to be given a bit more thump. Royal Enfield has a strong portfolio in Indian market and all its new bikes are awaited and received with huge enthusiasm by the Indian bike lovers.
The Enfield Thunderbird model currently is sold in a 350cc format. This bike has got good reputation among the bike crazy people and so the new 500cc Thunderbird, which is expected to be priced around Rs 1.6-1.9 lakh, will surely steal their minds once more.

dude...I am waiting for this bike so long. I like the classic 500 as well but thunderbird is class apart. BTW how do you get to know abut the launch date? Do you have any credentials.
