India's second largest two wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto, who now owns 47 percent shares in the Austrian biggie, KTM is now getting a good market in Europe also.
A small capacity motorcycle, the 125 Duke, produced by Bajaj Auto and sold by KTM in Europe, has been a runaway success, pushing unit sales and revenue of the European company higher than last year.
Both the companies are now working together to develop more vehicles of higher quality aiming both the Indian and European market as these bikes are getting clicked in both the markets.
KTM and Bajaj are working on a twin-cylinder engine platform that could subsequently make it to actual production at a later date. Let us hope, this partnership will yield stunning bikes in India.
