5 lakh plus sales reported by Hero MotoCorp in April

The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL) sold more than 5 lakh units in the month of April. The company, no.1 in India has always topped the chart with amazing sales report.


After setting the new benchmark of over 6.2 million units sales in the last financial year (FY'12), HMCL has carried forward the growth momentum into FY'13. The company is delivering sales that any of the company will love to have.



The company which sold 5,17,099 units in April 2011, has now reported another month of five-lakh plus unit sales, despatching 5,51,557 two-wheelers in April'12.

"It is indeed heartening to begin the new financial year with our best-ever monthly sales. We have made a good beginning with this strong performance and are pleased with the continuing trend of over half a million unit sales every month for the past nine months, " said Mr.Anil Dua, Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.



He added that, "Our new products launched recently-namely ¬'Impulse' and 'Maestro'-have started contributing towards these numbers. We are positive about further augmenting our sales volumes with more new launches."
