Royal Enfield bikes for firefighting people of Pune

The fire fighting is one of the most difficult and adventurous jobs around the corner. They risk their life to rescue others and to prevent the damages. In this profession reaching the spot of accident as fast as possible is the first requirement and that gets hampered by the narrow lanes and heavy traffic of the cities.

In order to address this problem, the firefighting unit in the city of Pune has inducted into its armada six firefighting motorcycles which are fitted with the compact water mist generating system and it is called RRM (Rapid Response Motorcycles).



The motorcycles are the Royal Enfield Electra 350cc fitted with the latest designed engine. The CAF (Compressed Air Foam) with a water system makes it very efficient in dealing with the fire with the accessibility of the two-wheeler. The provision for gel blankets and a first aid box will help the victims, who suffer serious burns with the medication on spot.

Now Pune has become the second city of Maharashtra to get motorcycles to fight the raging fire in a quick and efficient manner after Nagpur. Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka use the similar mode of compact firefighting.
