Hero MotoCorp to bring out low cost bikes.

India's largest two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp, has always been in fore front in achieving new heights by targeting those segments of the market where there is no such big competition. But they have always succeeded in all the segments they have tried.

Now the company is planning to target the low cost motorbike segment. This gives an indication that the company wants to get a fair amount of grip in each and every bike segment. In recent past HMC collaborated with Erik Buel Racing in order to manufacture performance bikes in the times to come.

The company is aiming to further reduce the price range and produce bikes that would be priced somewhere in the range of Rs. 20,000 to 30,000. This step could turn out to be a major force in driving the company towards more success.

The Hero MotoCorp has carried out numerous surveys and has identified that there is a very big group of buyers who desire to own a bike that would cost in the range of somewhere between Rs. 20,000 and 30,000.At present, the bike with the least cost that is manufactured by Hero MotoCorp is the Hero CD Dawn which is available for a price of Rs. 34,500 only.
