Honda reports a 41.03% increase in its February sales

HMSI (Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India), who split up with its long time partner, the Indian biggie Hero MotoCorp, is finding new heights in its sales and production. With supreme quality and performance, this Japanese biggie is winning more and more Indian hearts as months go by.


The third biggest two-wheeler manufacturer of India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) which is now aiming for the top slot in Indian two-wheeler market has reported a 41.30 per cent growth in its total sales for February at 2,06,043 units.



According to reports, the company's total sales stood at 1,45,819 units in the corresponding month of the previous year. Motorcycle sales reached new heights by reporting 26.06 per cent to 83,061 units in February this year as against 65,890 units in February 2011.

It was also reported that the company reported an increase of 53.86 per cent in its scooter sales to 1,22,982 units from 79,929 units in February 2011. Scooter market remains to be the biggest selling area for the company as the Activa and Dio models are doing very well in the market.
