Bajaj Boxer 150 fails to make an impression

Bajaj Boxer,s 100 cc version which was a good seller for the company years back. But the 150 cc variant of the Boxer, Boxer 150 just failed to make a wave in the industry as it was not able to attract both youth and middle class.

The auto major has termed Bajaj Boxer 150 as the 'Bharat Bike' and launched at a very decent price tag, Rs. 42,051 only, thereby making it the cheapest 150cc bike in the country. Good strategy, bad failed to click.

The new Bajaj Boxer 150 has been placed as a powerful traveler, which is particularly aimed at the people who don't care about the looks of the bike but keep the focus on a strapping bike that deliver an awesome fuel economy.

Bajaj is getting very disappointing response from the customers, as the bike does not have a stylish look as those of normal 150 cc products. Bajaj who lived up with everybody's hopes with the Pulsar series, failed to repeat the same with Boxer's new variant.

Bajaj will have to make some serious changes in their marketing tricks to pick up the sales. As a part of this, Bajaj Auto is marketing its Bharat Bike in about 16000 villages. The marketing crusade will comprise of demo vans, where the bike would be displayed and will also be offered for test drives to the aspiring consumers. Let us hope, this will work out for Bajaj.
