5 percent growth reported by TVS in January

The Chennai based TVS company who is hoping and working hard for a comeback in India proves that their hardwork is paying off here. They reported an impressive 5 % growth in the month of January compared to last year.

TVS Motor Company witnessed their total sales in January 2012 registering sales of 173,514 units against 165,152 units in January 2011. This is a remarkable and notable improvement as they are making their way to regain their lost third position.



The company's cumulative sales for the period April 2011 to January 2012 grew by 10 percent with sales of 1,843,554 units against 1,678,048 units recorded in the previous comparable period.

Scooters grew 2 percent recording sales of 41,469 units compared to 40,736 units in January 2011. Domestic two wheeler sales of the company grew by 8 percent with 153,014 units in January 2012 against 142,227 units reported in January 2011
