KTM to launch an adventure bike to challenge BMW

KTM, has now become a familiar name for us in India after the launch of the Duke series and its association with Indian biggie Bajaj. And because of that, new KTM launches have started gaining eyes of Indian guys as it may reach India in the future.

Here comes a new news from the KTM company who have got its impression in the international market. BMW R1200GS, is the name which arrives first into the mind of all those who know about the adventure bikes.



The R1200GS is the best selling motorcycle that BMW has built, on 3 August 2007 it produced the 100,000th model. Now, from KTM, a threat is on the way for this BMW product. Another powerful product from KTM.

The all-new KTM Adventure will house a 1290cc V-twin engine which is expected to produce around 130bhp . This figure is 25bhp more than its German rival, the BMW R1200GS. And that is why it proves to be a big threat for the BMW adventure bike. We shall wait and see whether BMW can overcome this challenge.
