CNBC-TV18 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year awarded to Rajiv Bajaj

Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto was awarded the outstanding business leader of the year award given by the channels CNBC-TV18. He was awarded mainly because he took Bajaj to new heights in a very tough situation.

These awards are given to hounour India's top performing companies and the outstanding leaders during the year. The outstanding business leader of the year is the biggest award in these awards.



"As far as the auto sector and specially motorcycles is concerned I personally think that things are fine. One can always hope for more growth, lower commodity prices, more benign interest rates." said Mr. Bajaj at the award ceremony.

He added, "So, obviously that kind of a generic wishlist is true and valid for very year. Otherwise if I look back at this financial year I see double digit growth. I see very high profitability in fact both in terms of revenues and profits, this will be the best year ever for Bajaj."
