36.15 percent growth reported by Honda Motorcycles in December

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has reported a stunning 36.15 percent growth in its sales in the month of December 2011 compared to December 2010. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda's Indian subsidiary Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) sold a number of 1,91,584 units.

According to the reports, the company had sold 1,40,719 units in the corresponding month in the previous year.
Honda with their wide range of scooters have impressed both youth and the middle class people of India.



Motorcycle sales jumped 24.97 per cent to 78,721 units in December, last year, against 62,991 units in December 2010. These values clearly prove that they are not weakened by the split with the Indian biggie Hero.

It was mentioned that the company reported an increase of 45.20 per cent in scooter sales to 1,12,863 units compared to 77,728 units in December 2010. This is a great achievement after been split up with Hero.
