Triumph to launch Street 300 / 350 Motorcycles in India by 2013

Like the Chinese two wheeler market, India is a really fast growing market in the globe. Because of that almost all the global brands are coming to India to showcase their products and hence to make a good strong impression among the Indian customers.

Triumph, who have already announced their Indian entry is also developing a motorcycle codenamed Street 300/350 for the Asian market and also likely to be launched in the Indian market. As per the reports, the motorcycles are likely to be launched in Brazil using CKD units that will be manufactured in Thailand



Triumph will equip the new motorcycle with a single-cylinder between 267-350cc engines depending upon which country it launches and it will power accordingly. Triumph is fully confident that Indian riders will surely enjoy riding their new product.

riumph Street 300/350 (codenamed) motorcycle is likely to get a 267-350cc engine with EFI system which is likely to be produced around 27-32 BHP of power mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike will feature short tail section and a heavy front with thick forks. The bike will be offered with a twin-spar frame and its design is heavily based on the Speed Triple.
