Honda CB Unicorn 160 BS-IV Has Arrived

The new 2017 CB Unicorn 160 is priced at Rs. 73,552 (Delhi Ex-showroom)

New Year market is considered to be the best time for automobile business. Most of the brands will be waiting for this particular period to introduce or upgrade their models. And for Honda, nothing short of upgrading their best seller Unicorn in a new fashion for 2017.



Honda Motorcycles India has officially launched their refined CB Unicorn 160 with a new fresh looking styling and advanced features. One of the highlighted feature of this bi-wheeler is, it gets a BS-IV compliant engine (Bharat Stage-IV Emission norms will be prevailed from 2017). And it is the first two-wheeler to be launched by Honda in BS-IV norms. Moreover, it gets an Automatic Head Lights On (AHO) feature with a new longer visor and some new paint jobs.

Unicorn 160 is powered by 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It has got some refinement from the Honda Eco Technology (HET), in order to rise up the engine efficiency and performance. The mill delivers 13.82 bhp of maximum power @ 8000 rpm an a peak torque of 13.92 Nm @ 6000 rpm, which is slightly lower compared to older spec engine. Things like monoshock rear suspension, fully digital instrument console and LED tail lamp is maintained in the latest Unicorn. In addition to the available colour schemes like Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Amazing white, Matte Axis Grey, the newer paint jobs like Matte Marvel Blue is also added to the line-up. Moreover, high quality graphics is also added to the cosmetic changes.

CB Unicorn 160 wasn’t a commercial hit in the market when it was introduced. But now with the likes of CB Hornet 160R, Honda is expecting to do some business with this model. The pricing of Unicorn 160 starts from Rs. 73,552 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
