Hero Splendor Pro now in Gold Edition

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Splendor brand, Hero MotoCorp, the world's no. 1 two wheeler company unveiled the Gold Edition of the Splendor Pro. BY launching the special colored motorcycle Hero pays homage to the best selling motorcycle brand in the world.



Of course, there would be no male motorcycle rider in India who hasn't ridden the Splendor bike at least for once. Even if there is, that would the 8th wonder of the world.

The all new Splendor Pro Gold Edition extremely looks superb. Thanks to the designers in bringing out such an attractive shade in entry level commuter bike segment. The gold color resembles power, tradition, wealth and above all the Kingdom of Hero MotoCorp in the Indian motorcycle industry.



The Gold Edition is nothing but equipped with the same technical specifications and features of the existing Splendor Pro. It is mated with a 97.2cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine. It generated maximum power of 7.8 PS @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.04 N-m @ 4500 RPM. Its engine is mated with a 4 speed constant mesh gear transmission. The all down gear shift pattern is very much easier for any rider who wishes to enjoy a trouble-free city ride.

It is wedded with Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at front and Swing arm with 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at rear. It brings out a comfortable ride for a commuter rider. Equipped with internal expanding shoe type brakes at both ends, it acts to be a value for money machine. The Splendor Pro weighs only 109kg. This makes everyone to start riding motorcycles on the Splendor. It has a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters. Well, having a mileage around 70 kmpl, an 11 liters fuel tank would be more than enough even for a long ride.

It was in 1994 the first Splendor motorcycle broke out from the production plant. Then the bike became a history of world two wheeler industry. In 2003, Hero launched the Splendor Plus and in 2010, the successor of the first generation Splendor, the Splendor Pro was launched.

Hero hasn't officially announced the price tag of the Splendor Pro Gold Edition.
