Ducati Launches 2013 Hyperstrada in India

2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is sourced to be priced approximately Rs.7.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Italian premium motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., launched its much awaited on-road off-road machine, the Hyperstrada on the Indian track. However, the official price tag is still unknown. The Hyperstrada is expected to cost around Rs.7.20 lakh (ex-showroom).



Hyperstrada is incisively an extent bi-wheeling of Ducati's own Hypermotard series. Hence it has been tabulated under the category, Hypermotard. The all new 2013 Hyperstrada delivers the precise existence of the Hypermotard SP and the Hypermotard. But its extra born features such as the windshield, side bags, dedicated ergonomics and a series of touring assistants, bring the bike to be a more off-on-roader and to be a portentous touring machine.

Doesn't matter it has only a minimal engine of 821.1cc, Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled. This engine is capable to produce some whooping power of 110hp (81kW) @ 9250rpm and tremendous torque of 89 Nm (65.8 lb-ft) @ 7750 rpm. It is coupled with a 6 speed gear transmission. This frame also ensures a steady and safe control. Its wide 70° handle bar helps the rider to make a stress-free riding experience even for long trips.

It is equipped with a marzocchi 50 mm pressurized and fully adjustable usd fork with hard anodized aluminium lightweight slider suspension at front and a progressive linkage with fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock. Aluminium single-sided swingarm suspension at rear. This binds a better ride comfy. The 2013 Hyperstrada is coupled with a sporty 10-spoke in light alloy wheels on both ends. Additionally, 2 x 320 mm semi-floating front disc brakes and 245 mm rear disc brake enrich the confidence of the rider.
