Mercedes is formulating things affordable with its soon launch of B Class and A Class in India and Europe respectively. As the time revolved, the German premium car manufacturer realized the necessity of bringing in hatchbacks or superminies or small family cars in the worlds second largest automobile market, India.
Traffics sometimes test the patience of luxury automobile drivers who are limited to sedan class, crawling through cities. Moreover, sedan premiums are stingy to pretend to be a good fuel efficient machines for his master. Hence Mercedes Benz introduces a couple of hatchbacks which are intended to be called either as superminies or as small family cars with more easiness to drive without compromising luxury but burning fuel. Both cars feature blue efficient technology by which energy is saved and stored.
Mercedes Benz India has officially announced that the B Class would be launching by the month of October. As the car is directly imported from the parent country, Germany, the B Class would be priced around Rs.25 lakhs. The B Class has already become a trendsetter in US and Europe. It has been reported a global sale of 70,000 units since its launch 6 months ago.
"The array of equipment, inspiring design, and highest standards of safety and comfort has made the new B-Class a product that appeals to the adventure-minded generation. The B-Class makes a definite statement about a lifestyle characterized by thrill and sophistication" said Peter Honegg, MD and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India.
Meanwhile, the A Class is all prepared to take its unveiling in the European market and will appear by September. Via pre-booking, Mercedes has already grabbed 40,000 bookings in Europe. According to the reports, the A Class will be priced below Rs.30 lakhs in the European countries.
