Mahindra Launches Verito Vibe

Entering to the compact saloon car segment, India's one of the best selling automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra lunched its much anticipated sub-4 metre hatchback, the Verito Vibe. The Vibe has been tagged with a base price of Rs. 5.63 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).



Though its looks like a hatchback, Mahindra doesn't want to call the vehicle as so. Instead of that the firm wants to address the machine as a compact saloon. Being a sub-4 metre compact, the car will benefit duty tax. Hopefully, it will be the best selling Mahindra automobile ever produced and it's a great move by the company since it really lacked a car in this category.



The Vibe is powered by the same Reanult's 1.5 litre dCi diesel, 4 cylinder, 8 valve, engine that powers the Verito. It delivers maximum power of 65 Ps at 4000 Rpm and maximum torque of 160 Nm at 2000 Rpm. Equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission, the Vibe ensures a stunning mileage of 20.8 kmpl.



Of course, its spacious experience is what makes the Vibe very special among its rivals. Having a class leading cabin space and large 330 liter boot space allow the passengers to have smooth ride. Moreover, Macpherson-type with wishbone link front suspension and H-Section torsion beam with programmed deflection-coil spring rear suspension, better the comfort of journey in it.


Tagged at reasonable pricing, the Verito Vibe will be competing with Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo, Tata Indica Vista, Renault Pulse, Nissan Micra and Toyota Etios Liva.
