Tiger XCA is the top variant among Tiger 800 series that launched in September 2015. It is the technologically advanced version of Tiger 800XCX. The standout features of this particular Tiger includes heated rider and passenger seats and LED fog lamps.
Like all the other 800 series Tigers, the same 800cc, liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line three cylinder engine powers this off road motorcycle. This engine is capable of producing 94bhp power @ 9250 rpm and a maximum torque of 79Nm torque @ 7850 rpm as well. Chassis is made up of Tubular steel Trellis frame and the twinsided swingarm is made of cast aluminium alloy.
This new bike is equipped with traction control, switchable ABS, 3 rider modes and an uprated 650W alternator with three auxiliary sockets and can power everything you needed from heated clothing to GPS system. For expedition luggage set, an aluminium panier rails are also provided. Hence it is an off road adventure class vehicle, Triumph has made the suspension system with a WP 43mm upside down forks with adjustable rebound and compression with a travel of 220mm at the front. Rear portion consists of WP monoshock with remote oil reservoir and hydraulically adjustable preload. Both front and rear brake features, switchable ABS system. Nissin 2-piston sliding calipers on 308mm twin floating discs deals with front wheel braking, while single 255mm disc, along with Nissin single piston sliding caliper stops the rear wheel.
The fuel consumption of this Triumph varies from 53 to 77 miles to a gallon,that too depends on the speed of the vehicle. It is equipped with a 19 litre fuel tank. The LCD instrument cluster displays, gear position indicator, trip computer, digital speedometer, tachometer, service indicator, fuel gauge, ambient temperature, clock and three rider modes (road/off road and personalized mode).
