Triumph Street Twin

Launched in India in February 2016.

The Street Twin is the entry level Bonneville powered by the 900 cc engine. Street Twin is often confused as a Bonneville or as a Bonneville Street. But Bonneville has now become the family name for all those classy bikes from Triumph Motorcycles. Street Twin is placed just below Bonneville T120. This bike has a more refined stripped back styling as compared to the Bonneville. But this is entirely a new motorcycle based on a new chassis and new 900 cc liquid cooled engine.

The minimal styling on the design work of the Street Twin enables a plenty of room for custom building the motorcycle, like the classic Bonneville. Overall looks of the Street looks simple but the new retro style LED tail lamp and a speedometer console with a small LCD screen shows wide range of information. Talking about mechanical department, the engine power is reduced from 61bhp to 54bhp and a maximum torque of 80 Nm @ 3230 rpm. The 900 cc engine is mated with 5 speed transmission box. It is equipped with 310mm disc at the front and 255mm disc at the rear for smooth and efficient braking. It is ABS enabled too.

Street Twin is an affordable Triumph with a smooth classy looks and rich in torque and power with attractive styling and superb handling. Ducati Scrambler and Harley's Iron 883 competes with this English motorcycle on the roads.
