Hello guys,
I have had a unique experience related to a project with Eimor Customs.
MJ and Saikat are the people related to Eimor Customs as we can see in the post.
I had flown in all the way from Pune to Hyderabad to talk to the Eimor Customs team regarding my bike.
I had an idea about modifying my bike (a KTM Duke 200) into a dragster or cafe racer. I carried a few pictures as well as some notes about my design idea. I was well received and my ideas were taken with a dose of enthusiasm initially when I was in Hyderabad in their workshop.
However, things began to go downhill once I returned to Pune. Initially MJ had sent me an email saying that the entire idea is being worked upon and they could achieve my design somehow. However it would take close to 2 lac rupees to do so.
I did not respond in a negative manner. But I did ask them about the financial details and the structure of the 2 lac rupees that were to be spent.
It was a huge amount considering the bike cost me around 1.4 lac rupees.
This was in July and since then, my repeated emails and phone calls have been met with absolutely zero interest.
Neither MJ nor Saikat respond at the first instance. They keep ignoring my calls and have not been professional in their communication.
Anyways, for someone who are in the custom motorcycle building business, they might have found my project and idea weak and lame and not worth considering. They should have told me to buzz off and I would have.
I hope they will provide better service to their future customers.
